Auditor General Michael Ferguson discusses his spring report on health services for remote First Nations communities. His office concluded that Health Canada had not adequately managed its support of access to health services and medical transportation benefits for First Nations individuals living in remote communities.

The following senior officials from Health Canada's First Nations and Inuit Health Branch, respond to the audit: Sony Perron (senior assistant deputy minister), Robin Buckland (executive director, office of primary health care) and Valerie Gideon (assistant deputy minister of regional operations).
