Defence Minister Jason Kenney and General Thomas Lawson (chief of the defence staff) update MPs on Canada's ongoing military mission against Islamic State extremists in Iraq and Syria, as well as on Canadian operations in central and eastern Europe in support of NATO and Ukraine. General Lawson is also questioned about his controversial comments blaming "biological wiring" for sexual misconduct in the military. He has apologized for the comments, which were made during an interview with the CBC. (June 17, 2015)
