Rogers Media president Keith Pelley, Colette Watson, vice-president of television and operations, and Susan Wheeler, vice-president of regulatory media, discuss the company's decision to cut ethnic newscasts from its OMNI Television stations. Rogers Media announced in May that it was replacing OMNI’s multi-language newscasts with weekday half-hour current affairs programs. The new programs air in Punjabi, Cantonese and Mandarin.
