The committee holds another hearing on the development of Canada's next agricultural policy framework, with testimony from Ray Orb (president of the Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities), James Brennan (director of government Affairs, Ducks Unlimited Canada), Paul Thoroughgood (regional agrologist, Ducks Unlimited Canada), and Mark Brock (chair of Grain Farmers of Ontario). MPs then turn their attention to the outbreak of bovine tuberculosis in Alberta. Ranchers Brad Osadczuk, Ross White and Warren Henry describe the hardship they have experienced since their farms have been put under quarantine. Bob Lowe (chair of Alberta Beef Producers) also testifies. 34 farms in Alberta and 2 farms in Saskatchewan have been put under quarantine. (November 22, 2016)
