Alana Robert, Shania Pruden, Natasha Kornak, Anne Elizabeth Morin, Antu Hossain, Aygadim Majagalee (Teanna Noel) Ducharme, and Élisabeth Gendron discuss violence against Canadian and Indigenous women, and human rights.
The organization Equal Voice selected 338 young women, representing every federal riding in Canada, to come to Ottawa to learn about Parliament and to encourage them to enter politics. The initiative is marking 100 years of women’s formal political engagement in Canada. (March 7, 2017)
