The committee hears from two panels as it continues its pre-budget consultations. Canadians are invited to share their priorities for the federal budget and these suggestions are included in a report that will be tabled in the House of Commons.
The first panel is made up of the following witnesses: Michael Atkinson (Canadian Construction Association); Patrick Leclerc (Canadian Urban Transit Association); Harriett McLachlan and Michèle Biss (Canada Without Poverty); Timothy Ross and Douglas Wong (Co-operative Housing Federation of Canada); Jeffrey Wichtel and Jean-Claude Dufour (Association of Canadian Faculties of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine); and C.J. Helie (Spirits Canada).
MPS then hear from Geneviève Moineau (Association of Faculties of Medicine of Canada); Peter Coleridge (Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada); Stephanie Deschenes (Canadian Association of Science Centres); Hassan Yussuff (Canadian Labour Congress); Dennis Prouse (CropLife Canada); and Michael Bourque (Railway Association of Canada).
