Canadian Heritage – September 27, 2017

MPs hear concerns about Motion M-103, as they resume their study on systemic racism and religious discrimination. The anti-Islamophobia motion was tabled by Liberal MP Iqra Khalid in December 2016 and was passed in March 2017 amid heated debate.

The witnesses are Father Raymond J. de Souza, Peter Bhatti (chairman, International Christian Voice), Jay Cameron (litigation manager, Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms), and Raheel Raza (president, Council for Muslims Facing Tomorrow).
