The committee continues its study on the use of private corporations for tax planning purposes, which will contribute to the Department of Finance’s consultations for its tax reform proposals. Appearing in the first panel are economist David Macdonald (Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives), health sciences professor Stéphane Poitras (University of Ottawa), farmer Andrew Lovell, taxation professor Guy Goulet (Université du Québec en Outaouais), lawyer James Merrigan (Poole Althouse), and law professor Kathleen Lahey (Queen’s University).
