Environment Commissioner Says Canada Isn’t Ready to Meet Climate Goals

Environment and Sustainable Development – March 27, 2018:

Environment Commissioner Julie Gelfand presents her audit report which states that most provinces and territories are not on track to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. Jointly developed with nine provincial and territorial auditors general, the audit assesses climate change preparedness in Canada.

Appearing alongside the environment commissioner is the Office of the Auditor General’s Kimberley Leach (principal, Sustainable Development Strategies, Audits and Studies).
