Minister Garneau Defends Navigable Waters Reform
Environment and Sustainable Development - March 28, 2018: Transport Minister Marc Garneau fields questions about the new Canadian Navigable Waters Act, which is part of the much larger governmental reform (Bill C-69) on environmental assessments, energy regulation, and navigation protection. Also participating in the study of Bill C-69 are Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers' Terry Abel and Paul Barnes; Canadian Energy Pipeline Association's Chris J. Bloomer; Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada's Lisa McDonald; as well as Canadian Hydropower Association's Eduard Wojczynski and Geneviève Martin.
