MPs Hear Concerns Over Environmental Impact Assessments Reforms

Environment and Sustainable Development – April 26, 2018:

MPs hear concerns from a number of witnesses about the changes to the environmental impact assessment process in Bill C-69, the government’s proposed environmental reform legislation.

Participating in the study are Dalhousie University’s Meinhard Doelle; the Québec Environmental Law Centre’s Karine Peloffy; Teck Resources Limited’s Sheila Risbud and Mark Freberg; the Federation of Canadian Municipalities’ Brock Carlton and Matt Gemmel; as well as Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters’ Matt DeMille.
