Consultation Commission on Accommodation Practices Related to Cultural Differences.

CPAC delivers full coverage from Gatineau, Quebec, where public hearings are being held to examine how to protect the rights of ethnocultural minorities while respecting those of mainstream Quebec society. Premier Jean Charest has appointed Gérard Bouchard and Charles Taylor to co-chair the Consultation Commission on Accommodation Practices Related to Cultural Differences in response to public discontent over reasonable accommodation. The Commission will hold public consultations in seventeen locations across the province over the coming months. Watch CPAC to hear from the people of Quebec on the issue.
