Witness: Blake Bromley

Blake Bromley (Benefic Group) testifies under direct examination by Commission Counsel Roger Bilodeau. Mr. Bromley gives a slide presentation in which he discusses his work with charities and non-profit organizations and the regulation of charities under Canada’s Income Tax Act. Mr. Bilodeau asks a variety of questions on the subject of charitable organizations, terrorist financing, and related legislation in Canada, including the Income Tax Act. Mr. Bilodeau also asks Mr. Bromley for his policy recommendations with respect to the regulation of the charities sector as a whole in Canada.
