Witness: Yvon Dandurand

Yvon Dandurand (International Centre for Criminal Law Reform and Criminal Justice Policy) continues to testify under direct examination by Commission Counsel Michel Dorval. In response to Mr. Dorval’s questions, Mr. Dandurand discusses various aspects of federal, provincial, and municipal witness protection programs in Canada, including the cost-benefit analysis undertaken to determine who should be admitted to such programs. He also speaks about the decision-making mechanisms in place for various witness protection programs in Canada and about related matters.
