Inquiries on CPAC - Public Hearings on Accommodation Practices – Quebec City, Que.


The Consultation Commission on Accommodation Practices Related to Cultural Differences (the “Bouchard–Taylor Commission”) was established in February 2007 by Quebec Premier Jean Charest. The public consultation program includes a number of public hearings focusing on issues relating to the protection of ethno-cultural minority rights while also respecting the rights of larger demographics within Quebec.

This October 31, 2007, hearing in Quebec City, Que., includes briefs and testimonials by Louis O’Neill (Université Laval), Touhami Rachid Raffa (Carrefour Culturel Sésame), Victor H. Ramos (Iner-cultures), and also from various citizens speaking as individuals.
