Witness: Terry Goral

Terry Goral (a former member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP)) continues his testimony before the Commission. Jacques Shore (Counsel for the Air India Victims’ Families Association) cross-examines Mr. Goral about RCMP concerns in the late 1980s about a possible Security Intelligence Review Committee (SIRC) review of the ongoing RCMP Air India investigation. Mr. Goral describes RCMP opposition to a public inquiry into the Air India investigation. Mr. Shore also asks Mr. Goral about the relationship between the RCMP and the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) and other issues. Loretta Colton (Counsel for the Attorney General of Canada) cross-examines Mr. Goral. Commission Counsel Brian Gover presents documents provided by Air Canada and Air India in response to subpoenas issued by the Commission.
