Commission of Inquiry into the Investigation of the Bombing of Air India Flight 182

Witnesses: James Malizia, Trevor Turner, Jamie Jagoe, Ches Parsons

The Commission hears testimony on Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) National Security Investigative Sections from a panel of witnesses including James Malizia (RCMP « C » Division), Trevor Turner (RCMP « E » Division), Jamie Jagoe (RCMP « O » Division), and Ches Parsons (RCMP « A » Division). Under direct examination by Commission Counsel Anil Kapoor, the witnesses speak about the work of the National Security Investigative Sections in every Canadian province, about the RCMP’s development of sources of intelligence, and about the sharing of information between the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) and the RCMP. Jacques Shore (Counsel for the Air India Victims’ Families Association) and Charleen Brensall (Counsel for the Attorney General of Canada) cross-examine the witnesses.
