Commission of Inquiry into the Investigation of the Bombing of Air India Flight 182

Witness: Robert M. Chesney

Robert M. Chesney (Wake Forest University School of Law) testifies under direct examination by Commission Counsel Mark J. Freiman about his research paper, written the Commission, on the subject of terrorism and criminal prosecutions in the United States. Mr. Freiman asks Mr. Chesney a variety of questions relating to the gathering of intelligence by American intelligence and policing agencies and the use of intelligence in criminal and terrorist prosecutions. Norman Boxall (Counsel for the Air India Victims’ Families Association) and Barney Brucker (Counsel for the Attorney General of Canada) cross-examine Mr. Chesney.
