Commission of Inquiry into the Investigation of the Bombing of Air India Flight 182

Witnesses: Brent Thompson, Michael Comeau, Bernard Grenier

Brent Thompson (British Columbia Ministry of the Attorney General) and Michael Comeau (New Brunswick Department of Justice and Consumer Affairs) testify as a panel under direct examination by Commission Counsel Roger Bilodeau. The witnesses discuss issues and challenges related to complex, lengthy prosecutions such as that of the bombing of Air India flight 182. Commissioner John C. Major also asks several questions in the course of the witnesses’ testimony. Jacques Shore (Counsel for the Air India Victims’ Families Association) and Matthew Sullivan (Counsel for the Attorney General of Canada) cross-examine the witnesses. Bernard Grenier (Quebec Bar Association) testifies under direct examination by Commission Counsel Michel Dorval about issues and challenges related to complex, lengthy trials. The Commissioner asks several questions of the witness.
