Commission of Inquiry into Certain Allegations Respecting Business and Financial Dealings Between Karlheinz Schreiber and the Right Honourable Brian Mulroney

The Commission hears from a panel of experts on the practical aspects of implementing and enforcing ethics and lobbying rules. Participants include Mary Dawson (Conflict of Interest and Ethics Commissioner of Canada), Paul Fraser (Conflict of Interest Commissioner of British Columbia), Lynn Morrison (acting Integrity Commissioner of Ontario), and Karen Shepherd (interim federal Commissioner of Lobbying). Commission Counsel Nancy Brooks moderates. There are comments and questions from Gregory Levine (barrister and solicitor), Lori Turnbull (Department of Political Science, Dalhousie University), Craig Forcese (the Commission’s director of research), Paul Thomas (St. John’s College, University of Manitoba), and Duff Conacher (Counsel for Democracy Watch).
