Commission Charbonneau - November 15, 2012 Part 1
Justice France Charbonneau presides over the commission established by Quebec Premier Jean Charest to examine the awarding and management of public contracts in Quebec's construction industry. Charest announced the creation of this inquiry in November 2011 to address allegations of corruption and collusion in the Quebec construction industry and political party financing. The witnesses for the morning session on November 15, 2012 were Michel Paquette, technical officer for the City of Montreal (site supervisor), Martin Carrier, president for Les Céramiques Lindo (Quebec) and Éric Vecchio, investigator for the Commission.
