Inquiries on CPAC
Commission Charbonneau - June 5, 2014 (Part 1 of 2)
The commission hears testimony from Joseph Cristofaro (businessman), Guy Desrosiers (Commission investigator and analyst), Michel Lagacé (former mayor of Saint-Sauveur, Quebec) and Jacques A. Tremblay (former director general, Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Land Occupancy). Justice France Charbonneau presides over the commission established by Quebec Premier Jean Charest to examine the awarding and management of public contracts in Quebec's construction industry. Charest announced the creation of this inquiry in November 2011 to address allegations of corruption and collusion in the Quebec construction industry and political party financing.
