Inquiries on CPAC - Commission Charbonneau - June 19, 2014 (Part 1 of 2)
The commission hears testimony from Robert Benoit (former Quebec Liberal Party president (1985-1989) and former Liberal MNA for Orford) and Éric Desaulniers (analyst and investigator for the commission).
Justice France Charbonneau presides over the commission established by Quebec Premier Jean Charest to examine the awarding and management of public contracts in Quebec's construction industry. Charest announced the creation of this inquiry in November 2011 to address allegations of corruption and collusion in the Quebec construction industry and political party financing.
