The Commission of Inquiry into the Actions of Canadian Officials in Relation to Maher Arar

The Commission continues to hear applications for standing. Applications are made by Riad Saloojee and Khalid Baksh on behalf of the Canadian Council on American-Islamic Relations, Mel Green on behalf of the Canadian Arab Federation, and Amina Sherazee on behalf of the Muslim Canadian Congress (via conference call).

Following the proceedings, Mr. Arar, Lorne Waldman (Counsel for Mr. Arar), and Marlys Edwardh (Counsel for Mr. Arar) speak to the press.
