Commission of Inquiry into the Sponsorship Program and Advertising Activities

Witness: Isabelle Roy

Catherine Beagan Flood (on behalf of the House of Commons) concludes her intervention asserting parliamentary privilege over the proceedings of legislative committees of the House. The Commission continues to hear testimony from Isabelle Roy (former special assistant to Alfonso Gagliano and employee in the Communication Coordination Services Branch (CCSB) of the Department of Public Works and Government Services). There is a brief cross-examination of Ms. Roy by Richard Auger (Counsel for Charles Guité). Under cross-examination by Pierre Fournier (Counsel for Mr. Gagliano), Ms. Roy is asked about the frequency of meetings between Mr. Guité and Mr. Gagliano and about the processing of requests for sponsorship from ministers and other members of Parliament.
