Commission of Inquiry into the Sponsorship Program and Advertising Activities

Witness: William Beahan

The Commission continues to hear testimony on the use of sponsorship funds for the 125th anniversary celebrations of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). Associate Commission Counsel Guy Cournoyer concludes direct examination of William Beahan (force historian for the RCMP). Discussion focuses on the role of Gosselin Communication in co-ordinating anniversary-related projects. There are cross-examinations by Pierre Fournier (Counsel for Alfonso Gagliano), Richard Auger (Counsel for Charles Guité), and Brian Saunders (on behalf of the Attorney General of Canada).
