Inquiries on CPAC - The Gomery Inquiry – May 27, 2005 (Part 4 of 4)

Commission of Inquiry into the Sponsorship Program and Advertising Activities

Witness: Jacques Corriveau

The Commission hears further testimony from Jacques Corriveau (the owner of Pluri Design Canada) with Commission Counsel Bernard Roy conducting direct examination. Mr. Corriveau denies having made cash donations to the Liberal Party of Canada in 1997, contradicting earlier testimony by Michel Béliveau. He repeatedly denies making payments to the Liberal Party but admits to paying Serge Gosselin for his work for the Liberals. He denies telling Daniel Dezainde about a “kickback system” to channel sponsorship money to the Liberals.
