The Commission of Inquiry into the Actions of Canadian Officials in Relation to Maher Arar

Witnesses: Sheema Khan, Rachad Antonius, Reem Bahdi

The Commission continues to hear contextual evidence on the impact of 9/11 and its aftermath on Muslim and Arab Communities in Canada from Rachad Antonius (Department of Sociology, Université du Québec à Montréal), Reem Bahdi (Faculty of Law, University of Windsor), and Sheema Khan (Chair, Council on American-Islamic Relations Canada). Simon Fothergill (for the Attorney General of Canada) concludes his examination. Examinations are conducted by Commission Counsel Brian Gover and Faisal Joseph (for the Canadian Islamic Congress).
