Commission of Inquiry into the Sponsorship Program and Advertising Activities

The Commission continues to hear closing oral arguments. George Hunter makes closing arguments on behalf of Ranald Quail, speaking about the extent of Mr. Quail’s knowledge and responsibilities as the former assistant deputy minister of the Department of Public Works and Government Services. There are also closing arguments by Pierre Fournier on behalf of Alfonso Gagliano (the former Minister of Public Works and Government Services), with Mr. Fournier denying any wrongdoing on the part of Mr. Gagliano.
