Witness: Franco Pillarella

Commission Counsel Paul J. J. Cavalluzzo continues direct examination of Franco Pillarella, the former Canadian Ambassador to Syria. Discussion focuses on information obtained by the Syrians from Mr. Arar by means of torture and shared with the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). The ambassador repeatedly denies evidence of Mr. Arar’s torture.
