Commission of Inquiry into the Sponsorship Program and Advertising Activities

The Commission concludes its hearing of closing oral arguments. Sylvain Lussier continues to present closing arguments on behalf of the Attorney General of Canada, speaking at length about ministerial responsibility, criteria for the awarding of sponsorships and sponsorship contracts under Charles Guité, and changes to the federal government’s advertising and sponsorship activities in light of findings of the Auditor General’s 2004 report.
