The Commission continues to hear testimony from Garry Loeppky (Deputy Commissioner, Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP)). Commission Counsel Marc David asks the witness about conflicting interests of the RCMP and the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (DFAIT) with respect to efforts to obtain Mr. Arar’s release from Syria.
