Commission Counsel Paul J. J. Cavalluzzo conducts examination of Ron Lauzon (former team leader, RCMP National Security Offences Section), who speaks about negotiations with the United States during the course of Mr. Arar’s detention in New York in October 2002. There are brief cross-examinations by Lorne Waldman (Counsel for Mr. Arar) and Simon Fothergill (Counsel for the Attorney General of Canada).
