Inquiries on CPAC - The Gomery Inquiry – November 23, 2004 (Part 3 of 5)

Commission of Inquiry into the Sponsorship Program and Advertising Activities

Witness: Anita Lloyd

Anita Lloyd (Director of Access to Information and Privacy, Public Works and Government Services Canada) continues testimony. Under examination by Associate Commission Counsel Guy Cournoyer, Ms. Lloyd describes attempts beginning in January 2000 to limit the disclosure of information following a journalist’s request for information about the sponsorship program. She is asked about her own refusal, on ethical grounds, to allow the release of incomplete information.
