Commission of Inquiry into the Sponsorship Program and Advertising Activities

Witness: Jocelyne Bourgon

The Commission continues to hear testimony form Jocelyne Bourgon (former Clerk of the Privy Council). Under direct examination by Commission Counsel Bernard Roy, Ms. Bourgon speaks about government advertising initiatives at the time of the 1995 referendum on Quebec sovereignty, about accountability for spending and for the implementation of government policy, and about the use of the so-called Unity Fund for sponsorship activities.
