Witness: Marc LeFrançois

The Commission continues to hear testimony from Marc LeFrançois (the former chair and CEO of VIA Rail Canada). Associate Commission Counsel Guy Cournoyer concludes direct examination. Under cross-examination by Richard Dearden (Counsel for the Office of the Auditor General), Mr. LeFrançois is asked about anomalies with invoices and about the lack of a business case for VIA Rail’s sponsorship of a television series on Maurice Richard produced by Robert-Guy Scully.
