Witness: Jean Carle

Commission Counsel Bernard Roy continues direct examination of Jean Carle (the former director of operations in the Prime Minister’s Office under Jean Chrétien and former Senior Vice-President, Corporate Affairs, Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC)). Mr. Carle is asked about meetings with Charles Guité and Jean Pelletier, during which he made suggestions concerning events for sponsorship. He is also asked about his relationship with Jean Lafleur and about the ordering of promotional items such as golf balls through the Canada Information Office.
