Jean Chrétien, the former prime minister of Canada, continues testimony. Under direct examination by Commission Counsel Bernard Roy, Mr. Chrétien speaks about the role of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) in the selection of projects for sponsorship, the extent of his own accountability for the use of the Unity Fund for sponsorships, and the overall success of the sponsorship program.
