The Commission continues to hear testimony on the subject of Canada Post’s involvement in sponsorship activities, with Commission Counsel Bernard Roy resuming direct examination of Micheline Montreuil (former Director, Stamp Products Group, Canada Post). Ms. Montreuil describes the selection of agencies, including Lafleur Communication, for stamp marketing campaigns and for a children’s stamp design contest. She is asked about the agencies’ practice of charging commissions when transferring sponsorship funds from Public Works and Government Services Canada to Canada Post.
