Commission of Inquiry into the Sponsorship Program and Advertising Activities

Witnesses: Anne Buston, Lily Sioris

The Commission continues to hear testimony on the subject of Canada Post’s involvement in sponsorship activities. Commission Counsel Bernard Roy concludes direct examination of Anne Buston (former Director of Public Relations, Canada Post) with questions focusing on the role of Canada Post’s sponsorship committee in the approval of agencies and projects for sponsorship. Raymond Doray (Counsel for André Ouellet) and Sylvain Lussier (on behalf of the Attorney General of Canada) question the witness. Mr. Roy conducts examination of Lily Sioris (a former member of the Canada Post sponsorship selection committee) on the subject of the awarding of sponsorship contracts to agencies.
