Witness: Jean Pelletier

Jean Pelletier (Jean Chrétien’s former chief of staff) continues testimony. Under direct examination by Associate Commission Counsel Guy Cournoyer, Mr. Pelletier is asked about the role of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) in recommending events for sponsorship, about his relationships with Jean Lafleur, Éric Lafleur, and Jacques Corriveau, and about the prime minister’s authorization of use of the so-called Unity Fund to pay for sponsorship activities.
