The Commission continues to hear arguments concerning a motion by David W. Scott and Peter Doody (Counsel for Jean Chrétien) calling for the recusal of Commissioner John H. Gomery in light of remarks made in a series of high-profile interviews with the press in December 2004. Submissions in opposition to the motion are made by Richard Dearden (Counsel for the Office of the Auditor General), Arthur L.
