Mr. Brault is asked about his relationships with Charles Guité and Alfonso Gagliano and about his own knowledge of the sources of funding for the sponsorship program. He speaks about Alain Renaud’s role as a liaison for Groupaction with both the Liberal Party of Canada and the Department of Public Works and Government Services. He describes the use of phony invoices to channel money to the Liberal Party of Canada at the request of Benoît Corbeil.
