Commission of Inquiry into the Investigation of the Bombing of Air India Flight 182

Witness: Glen Gartshore

The Commission hears testimony from Glen Gartshore (a former member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) security services division and former supervisor of the so-called “Sikh desk” at the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS)). Under direct examination by Commission Lead Counsel Mark J. Freiman, Mr. Gartshore speaks about his counter-terrorism work for the RCMP and CSIS, including his work on the “Sikh desk” at CSIS. He also discusses Sikh extremism in Canada and the response of CSIS to the bombing of Air India flight 182.
