Witnesses: Rodney Wallis, Jean Barrette, Jim Marriott

Rodney Wallis (an international civil aviation security consultant), Jean Barrette (Canadian Air Transport Security Authority), and Jim Marriott (Transport Canada) testify as a panel before the Commission under direct examination by Commission Counsel Brian Gover. The panellists discuss international and Canadian responses to the September 2001 attacks in the United States. Mr. Gover asks about the evolution in policies related to baggage screening and handling since the early 1980s, the universal security audit program administered by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), and other issues. Commissioner John C. Major asks the witnesses some brief questions.
