Senator Colin Kenny (chair of the Senate Standing Committee on National Security and Defence) testifies under direct examination by Commission Counsel Brian Gover about the work of the Senate Standing Committee on National Security and Defence in relation to aviation security. Senator Kenny discusses the mandate of the Standing Committee and its recommendations to the Canadian government with respect to aviation security, including the recommendation that Transport Canada be relieved of its responsibility for security at airports.
