Witness: Garry Loeppky

Marlys Edwardh (Counsel for Mr. Arar) continues cross-examination of Garry Loeppky (Deputy Commissioner, Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP)). Discussion focuses on rules for information-sharing, the RCMP’s willingness to have the Syrians interrogate Mr. Arar on its behalf despite the likelihood of torture, the RCMP’s position on consular access, and the nature of the RCMP’s interest in Mr. Arar.
