Inquiries on CPAC - The Air India Inquiry – June 1, 2007 (Part 4 of 4)

Commission of Inquiry into the Investigation of the Bombing of Air India Flight 182

Witness : Colin Kenny

Commission Counsel Brian Gover concludes examination of Senator Colin Kenny (chair of the Senate Standing Committee on National Security and Defence). Raj Anand (Counsel for Lata Pada and other victims’ families) cross-examines Mr. Kenny. Mr. Anand pointedly asks Mr. Kenny about the comparative swiftness and robustness of the Canadian government’s response to the September 2001 attacks in the United States versus the government’s response to the bombing of Air India flight 182. Mr. Kenny describes a prevailing view at the time of the Air India bombing that most of the Air India victims were not actually Canadian.
