Commission of Inquiry into the Investigation of the Bombing of Air India Flight 182

Witnesses : J. B. MacDonald, R. E. Muir

J. B. MacDonald (a former member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP)) continues to testify under direct examination by Commission Counsel Anil Kapoor about the structure, organization, and work of the RCMP’s airport policing branch. Norman Boxall (Counsel for the Air India Victims’ Families Association), Carol McCall (Counsel for Air India), and Loretta Colton (Counsel for the Attorney General of Canada) cross-examine Mr. MacDonald. Mr. Kapoor begins examination of R. E. Muir (a former director of the RCMP VIP security branch from 1977 to 1986). Mr. Muir speaks about potential threats to Air India in the weeks before the bombing of Air India flight 182.
