Witness: Daniel Livermore

Daniel Livermore (Director General of the Security and Intelligence Bureau, Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (DFAIT)) continues testimony. Under examination by Commission Counsel Paul J. J. Cavalluzzo, Mr. Livermore describes his bureau’s involvement in Mr. Arar’s case, consular visits to Mr. Arar in Syria, and the sharing of supposedly confidential information with the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).
